Background

Early Childhood

R'yza R'hun (her birth name) is the third daughter to R'hun of Thanalan and R'adheb. She also has 2 sisters, R'hatoa and R'ylee. She was born somewhere in the Sagoli desert but was later raised in the city of Limsa Lominsa. During that time, her father earned a position of high esteem within the Admirals staff, making their life in Limsa Lominsa a favorable one. His knowledge of the Miqo'te tribals in the deeper desert area of Thanalan proved to be an important one to the City's initiatives of outreach.
R'yza lived mostly a sheltered life up into her late teen years. Something she did not initially understood since her older siblings were allowed to leave the house. An explanation was given to her when her hair started to turn white and her eyesight started to fail. Along with getting her first pair of glasses from her father, she was told that she was born with the gift of "reading" both past, present and the ever moving future. This gift was passed down by her mother, who is also a white haired Miqo'te with light purple eyes. Furthermore, she was told that she was pledged as a future bride and Seer for their tribe back in Thanalan. A powerful prize for the tribe's Nunh as she would later find out in her life.

A Life changing decision

By the time R'yza was about to come of age, she was well aware of the turn her life will soon take for her. On the eve of her setting out to their tribe, R'yza ran away, buying passage to some merchants that set out to Ishgard.
Arriving in Ishgard, R'yza strived to make ends meet while living in the Brume. However, her sister R'ylee, secretly supported her with funds from her own job as a Twin Adder officer in Gridania.

Life on the run & change

Ryza as she is known outside of her tribal home, was able to make a living by deftly avoiding the bounty hunters looking to abduct her back and taking a liking to astral studies. She now looks very different to her younger years, sporting a menacing red gem that seems to pulsate based on her demeanor and an equally odd runic tattoo imprinted all over her upper body.
Underworld denizens whisper of a ruthless and un-forgiving Miqo-te with runic tattoos that makes her fortune in the shipping trade business. Perhaps a match.....

Current events...

Ryza is married to Keir, however he has expressed a desire to adventure instead of settling down and making a family. She also has faced challenges with her enterprises, having lost many of them in a hostile takeover by Theo Industries. She ended up having to take a position as his Executive Assistant during the takeover for a certain amount of time.

Keir Drakos - Husband (NPC)

Ryza met Keir during her hardships earlier in her life. He was introduced to her by an acquaintance to be her bodyguard. Across time, they ended up having feelings for each other and have made oaths to each other as mates. However, he has lost interest and pursued a life as a mercenary offshore.

R'hun of Thanalan (formally R'hun Tia)

R'yza's father. Despite loving him greatly, Ryza let her father down by breaking his blood oath to have her become the Tribe's Nunh mate. This resulted in the stripping of all his honor. Currently being shunned by all respectable Miqo'tes. R'yza has not been able to talk to her father for over 7 years.

R'adebh R'hun

Ryza's mother. They have a love/hate relationship. While her mom loves her very much she is disappointed in the life decisions she has made. Including her marrying out of her own tribe and into a tribeless male. She is a Seer and is highly proficient in it.

R'hatoa: Her relationship with R'hatoa is in tatters, since R'ha is a traditionalist and highly jealous of Ryza's abilities.
R'ylee: Rylee is Ryza's best friend. They talk to each other about everything that happens to them. Rylee is a high level official within the Twin Adders organization.
